About Yokohama Ginrei

The name of the store is ... to call it a "brand" in the first place is quite inappropriate. However, the name of the store, the brand name, or simply put, the category, I think, is "silver". Moreover, when I encountered a mysterious water-like liquid that could dye everything into real "silver," and when I learned its complicated and mysterious construction method, I thought that "Ginrei" would be the most appropriate generic name for the construction results. But then, for some reason, the sight of the Yokohama Marine Tower came to my mind, and I thought that if that was the case, then Yokohama should come before Ginrei. Yes, it is a completely unrelated story, but the combination of Yokohama and Ginrei sounded so wonderful that I decided to call myself "Yokohama Ginrei" (meaning "Yokohama Silver Ridge"). Naturally, there are no mountains to be seen on the ocean side of Yokohama Marine Tower. Then, why does the logo of Yokohama Ginrei have a mountain-like ridgeline next to the Yokohama Marine Tower? My ancestors were born in Toyama Prefecture in Hokuriku, and when I thought of the word "Ginrei," I thought that the image of the Tateyama mountain range, which I have seen several times in my childhood, would be appropriate for the logo. The symbol of the Silver Ridge is the Tateyama Mountain Range. And the site of its creation is Yokohama. We look forward to your continued support of "Yokohama Ginrei-Yokohama".
